I have always promised myself, if you are going to begin digging into something, be prepared to go all the way, or don’t go at all. It has been difficult to come face to face with the reality of what has been going on in the truth movement, but I have also come to realize that I have a very real purpose in it, and that is to expose the false profits of truth. This is never the role I assigned for myself, but at all points, I have to be honest with myself and others at to what I have come to know, present the evidence I have, and genuinely take a look at what the implications of that is.
Firstly, I must put forward a bit of context, so that we all have an understanding as to the moral implications of what is acceptable and not acceptable.
As any genuine truther knows, money is the root of all evil. Those in the truth movement making a living from it, are the most vulnerable and susceptible to corruption. The key to functioning effectively in the capacity of a genine purveyor of truth, is to find an survival and income source that does not rely on other truth seekers having to donate or purchase something from you.
When we started Freedom Central, we were living in a camper van. For the first two years, we did not even have our own internet. We had to beg borrow and steal internet from everywhere to broadcast our radio shows and upload our clips. It has taken a long time to stabilize ourselves so that I can focus on Freedom Central full time, with fully running internet and private location for working, as well as setting ourselves up to have income independent of Freedom Central. We have never had a donate button on our home page of our Freedom Central website, when we did have one, it was hidden on the get involved page of our website, and we have not even included a donate button option on our new look website. We have always made our information available for free, as we firmly believe that information is the common heritage of all beings, not the exclusive intellectual property of those who can pay for it.
For those of you who have followed our journey, you will know that we are not part of the inner click of the Psy-Ops known as the truth movement. We are commonly not allowed into conferences, detained at airports, attacked and gassed whilst having equipment, cameras and interviews stolen. These things do not happen to many other of the big names in the so called Truth Movement. It is because of this that I started asking the poignant question of “What the hell is going on here? ”
Let me just confirm for anybody who doubts what Freedom Central is all about. This is nothing more than our journey of discovery, for what ever that is worth to anybody else. We have made our journey available for all to see, and take from it what resonates. We are not trying to have speaking careers, we are not trying to have daily news updates and live streaming. That would just be far too much pressure. Instead we use the Freedom Central platform to gather information for my books and documentaries, all of which, we make available for free. We are in no way profiting off the truth movement, only trying to figure it all our for ourselves.
That being said, there are those who have seized upon every opportunity to capitalize of the awakening mass populace, and these folks peeve me off the most, because they are not doing this for truth and justice, they in it for profit. A donate button is still acceptable on websites where the resource material is top notch.
I highly recommend checking out Lisa M Harrision’s work, and donating to her. I can guarentee you she is 100% not controlled, and her interviews are by far the best on the web. As I have spoken often with Lisa, I know how she is struggling financially, in a bad way, yet she makes all her stuff available for free. It is because of those who profit off regurgitating the “regulated truth”, selling under labels such as “Deep Geo Politics”, that people like Kevin Annett and Lisa M Harrison, who genuinely deserve the donations, do not get them, because that money is side tracked by other less deserving, mostly co-opted, wannabe pseudo-celeb truthers.
There are many who fall into this offending category, but by far the most obviously money orientated person out of all, is none other than Ian R Crane.
Appart from my own experiences with Ian R Crane, which I will go on to discuss in a moment, it is important to know that Mr Crane’s self named website, is not even a website, it is a webshop. We own fairly sophisticated website scanning software, and ran a scan of Mr Crane’s information platform, and it is not even a website with information, with a webshop attached, it is ONLY a webshop.
How I first came to know of Ian R Crane was after he befriended me following my expulsion from the Wake Up Call conference in Edinburgh. Mr Crane sent me a Facebook message to show support for me saying that the organizer of the Wake Up Call events had also treated him very poorly. Apparently Mr Crane had rung the organisers of a Wake Up Call event at which he had spoken, to complain about how badly organized it was. The organizer apparently hung up on Mr Crane.
This was the first insight I got into Mr Crane’s over inflated ego. I then began to experience for myself just how Mr Crane likes to tell people off and comment from a “holier than thou perspective”, when quite frankly, people in glass houses should not throw boulders.
In February 2011, a media company for their belated Xmas party, invited my husband and I to Brussels. We were put up in a hotel and treated to a black tie dinner and live entertainment. The next day we drove to Brugge and I was treated to a lunch of mussels and Belgian beer and chococolate. My husband also purchased me ring for me, which is the only thing I had received in months. When I expressed my wonderful experience being treated to a black tie night out, lunch in Brugge and of course the gift I was given, Mr Crane took it upon himself to comment on my status and say “Good to see that materialism is alive and well in the truth movement”.
I tried to ignore this statement, as I was extremely annoyed. One thing I am not is materialistic, and we have been though so much, it was nice to have a treat for a change. Now because we enjoy ourselves once in a blue moon, we are materialistic?
The more I began to know Ian Crane, the more I began to see just how money orientated and materialistic he was and thus what a hypocrite he is, in so many ways. He likes to tell people off, whilst neglecting to deal with his own shortcomings.
In February 2011, Ian R Crane announced on Facebook, that he was going to be taking over as the Director of Edge Media TV. He put an update on his Facebook status asking program makers who had or wanted to produce content for the TV Channel he was heading up. At this time, we did not even have internet at home, but in the previous year, we had produced a documentary film called THE MESSAGE, which had received much critical acclaim. Freedom Central agreed to allow Edge TV to use our film to broadcast on their channel. Having worked in main stream media, and having produced my own work for main stream media when I lived in London, I know that a TV channel will usually pay a production company for their programs and productions, as a TV channel usually makes money from advertising. However, Mr Crane had gotten it into his head that he could charge the us for showing our documentary on Edge Media TV.
The below email was sent to us:
Hi Mel & Richard,
I have attached the Introductory Advertising Rate Card, along with the Draft Broadcast Rate Card ... it's not far off the finished product but there may be some fine tuning.
We are prepared to apply considerable creativity to combination packages if Programme/Documentary Producers also take responsibility for selling advertising packages, as this would have the effect of creating the opportunity for discounting the prices shown on the Broadcast Rate Card.
I know that this may sound outrageously complex but we are trying to work with sufficient flexibility so as to find a mutually workable solution wherever possible.
I understand your sentiment regarding paying for your material ... and are open to constructive creativity regarding the funding of the Channel. Basic running costs are an absolute minimum of £25,000 per month. However, realistically, we need to be gernerating sustainable revenues of £50,000 per month to ensure the Channel's longevity!
In reality, we know that our Broadcast Ratecard is the most attractive proposition on the Sky Network, for anyone considering anything from a one-off 60sec promo, to establishing a micro-channel within the Edge Media framework. It's an exciting prospect for this unique time in our history.

Attached to this email was a excel spread sheet with ridiculous amounts of money on it. We would have been required to pay 50 000 to have our film broadcast once a week for a year. That is just over a thousand pounds every time it was broadcast.
Of course we did not have that kind of money as we could not even afford internet, and I wrote to Mr Crane saying the following:
Hi Ian,
Sorry for the delay in coming back to you on this.
We have discussed your rates for programers and feel that it is very high. I understand you need funding for the channel and we will get you some, but I think you leave a lot of very talented people out of the picture with these rates. I really would like to see who can come up with this sort of money, especially if they are not funded from the Powers that be.

thanks for getting back to me. As i'm sure you realise, these rates are extremely competitive when compared with any other micro-channel option on the Sky Network, The basic running costs are £30,000 per month!

After this I did not bother to respond. The thing that got me the most is how Mr Crane actually thought I was stupid enough to fall for his “our rates are extremely competitive” line. I have worked in TV and I can promise you that no TV channel charges the programmer makers to air their material, in fact, it is the TV stations who pay the program makers and production companies. Ian was trying to con me into believing that all other TV stations do what he did, and that Edge TV rates were very competitive. But no other TV station does it this way so how can it be competitive. A total marketing speech indeed, on top of which, he had tried to scam us out of 50 000 pounds.
Some time later, I was approached by some people who work for Edge Media TV, and they asked me if they could interview me and use my stuff. I told them what had happened with Ian R Crane, and told them that he had tried to make me pay 50 000 pounds, and these people I was speaking to could not believe it. They said that they would broadcast my stuff for free, and that no other program makers paid money. I then asked if Ian R Crane was still involved with Edge Media TV, and I was told that he was not even the director of the station as he had claimed, and that he had no involvement in management and financial affairs. In other words, he had tried to scam me.
Throughout the course of last two years, I have noticed that Ian R Crane would only ever come onto my Facebook profile, when he had to post a speaking event. Not only had he tried to scam me, but he then went on to routinely tap my listeners and reader by repeatedly advertising on my page, opportunities to make him money, including events and even a magazine.
In October 2011, Ian R Crane launched his magazine UNCENSORED. This magazine was actually from some other contact in New Zealand, and Ian Crane was doing a UK version and / or, reselling the one from New Zealand. At this time, the first book in my trilogy was being published, and my publisher had expressed interest in doing a magazine in South Africa, much like UNCENSORED. I approached Mr Crane to discuss all the possibilities. Let me just also say that the only time Mr Crane will speak to me on Skype is when there is an opportunity for him to make money.
Unfortunately, like with the Edge TV saga, I was left feeling that Mr Crane was scamming money again off the truth movement. He would not let me go directly to the source of the magazine to obtain the best price to supply to people in South Africa, at reasonable rates (which of course are exacerbated due to the currency exchange rate) I had to go through Mr Crane, who put his mark up on it. I did the maths and looked at the cost for the magazine for people in South Africa, and with Mr Crane’s mark up, it was way more than anybody pays for magazines in South Africa, and thus, it would not have been a viable option to get UNCENSORED into the hands of people in South Africa, purely because Mr Crane was greedy, and wanted his share of the profit.
Mr Crane then tried to sell me advertising in his magazine. The rates he quoted per page and and half page were more than Conde Naste magazine group charges for the equivalent in one of their glossy magazines, which have a much much bigger circulation. In other words, Mr Crane was trying to sell advertising in a magazine at a higher rate than well established magazines with a greater circulation.
Just how does this logic work? It works if you are a scam artist!
After I had come to realize that the Hollie Greig story was a hoax, I began to look at the supporting media around this case, and found many issues regarding the UK Column, and in particular Brian Gerrish. Following on from my expose of the Hollie Greig Hoax and the UK Column, I started receiving messages on Facebook from Ian Crane in support of Brian Gerrish, claiming I had no evidence. When I sent him the evidence, he refused to look at it. When I asked to then speak to him on Skype, he refused. It seems he only speaks to me when he can make money off of me, not to find out the truth or the other side.
Of course it is obvious that Ian R Crane is Controlled Opposition much like Brian Gerrish and the UK Column. This is very obvious to many people. I have had some people coming forward and claiming that Ian R Crane is not even his original name, but I have no evidence of this, apart from the testimony of several people who also all claim he is someone called Mark Stevens, an International tax adviser with 20 years tax and legal experience within “big 5” audit firms. I have no way of confirming this, but Mr Crane claims to have a background as an Oilfield executive, when in fact he was merely a marketeer for the Oil industry, not even an executive, a marketing man through and through!
When Ian Crane refused to look at the evidence I had presented to him, he then further compounded his idiocy by stating that he used to have respect for me.
Let me just say that Ian Crane respects nobody but himself.
Futhermore, Mr Crane showed himself up nicely by posting an old modeling picture of me on his Facebook page claiming the fact that I used to be a model as the basis for me not being a serious journalist. Yes I was a former model, I have never hidden that fact. I talk about this in my book THE SOUTH AFRICAN GUIDE TO THE GLOBAL CONSPIRACY. I have some old modeling pictures on Facebook there and available for all to see if they take the time to look. Having a marketable appearance in no way negates one potential for intelligence. To suggest this is totally illogical and irreprehensible for a man who is supposed to be educating the awakening population with good information. How can you trust anybody who is so narrow minded, to explain the basic workings of the world, never mind “deep geo politics”.
This only backfired massively as you can imagine, as this only highlights Mr Crane’s archaic attitude that if you are to be taken seriously as a woman, you must be chaste or at least not be a model. It must be unthinkable to Mr Crane that a woman can be a model and be intelligent. This total male chauvinism and limited perception had done great damage to Mr Crane’s reputation, as I have been absolutely inundated with letters of support, which also shared sentiments of disgust for Mr Crane’s behavior. Many have commented that this has only confirmed the ever-growing suspicions about who and what Ian R Crane is. But also it has shown just how low the controlled opposition will sink in order to try and have a go at the genuinely uncontrolled Alternative Media.
